Kia Sportage: Air conditioning System / A/C Pressure Transducer Repair procedures
| 1. |
Measure the pressure of high pressure line by measuring voltage output
between terminals “1” and “2”.

| 2. |
Inspect the voltage value to determine whether it is within specification.

| 3. |
If the measured voltage value is not wihtin specification, replace the
A/C pressure transducer.
Voltage = 0.00878835 * Pressure + 0.37081095
| 1. |
Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
| 2. |
Recover the refrigerant with a recovery/charging station.
| 3. |
Disconnect the A/C pressure transducer connector (A).
| 4. |
Remove the A/C pressure transducer (B).
Tightening torque :
10 - 12 N.m (1.02 - 1.22 kgf.m, 7.4 - 8.8 lb-ft)

Be careful not to bend the liquid & suction pipe.
| 5. |
Install in the reverse order of removal.
When installing, replace it with a new O-ring (A).
