Kia Sportage: Fender / Repair procedures

Replacement

•	Be careful not to damage the fender and body.

•	Use a plastic panel removal tool to remove interior trim pieces without marring the surface.

1.	Remove the head lamps. (Refer to Front Bumper - "Front Bumper Cover")

2.	Remove the side seal molding. (Refer to Body Side Molding - "Side Sill Molding")

3.	Remove the front wheel guard. (Refer to Body Side Molding - "Front Wheel Guard")

4.	Using a remover, remove the delta garnish (A).

5.	Separate the hood weatherstrip (A).

6.	Remove the fender side cover (A) after loosening the mounting clips.

7.	After loosening the mounting screws, bolts, and nut, remove the fender assembly (A).

Install in the reverse order of removal.

•	Replace any damaged clips.
