| Removal |
| 1. |
Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
|
| 2. |
Remove the tailgate upper trim.
(Refer to Body - "Tailgate Trim")
|
| 3. |
Remove the tailgate side trim.
(Refer to Body - "Tailgate Trim")
|
| 4. |
Disconnect the anti-pinch strip connector (A).
|
| 5. |
Remove the anti-pinch strip (A) after removing the mounting clips.
|
| Installation |
| 1. |
Install the power tailgate anti-pinch strip.
|
| 2. |
Disconnect the power tailgate anti-pinch strip sensor connector.
|
| 3. |
Install the tailgate side trim.
|
| 4. |
Install the tailgate upper trim.
|
| 5. |
Connect the negative (-) battery terminal.
|
