Removal
1.
Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
2.
Remove the tailgate trim.
(Refer to Body - "Tailgate Trim")
3.
Disconnect the power tailgate latch connector (A) and PCU assembly connector (B).

4.
Remove the power tailgate latch (A) after loosening the mounting bolts.

5.
Loosen the PCU (Power Closing Unit) (A) mounting nuts.

6.
Remove the power tailgate latch & PCU assembly (A).

Installation
1.
Install the power tailgate latch and PCU assembly.
2.
Connect the power tailgate latch and PCU assembly connector.
3.
Install the tailgate trim.
4.
Connect the negative (-) battery terminal.
